Celtic Cross Spread

I thought I would start with the spread that I use when I do readings. There are many different ways of reading the tarot and many different spreads. But I have found this to be the simplest way of reading the cards. Because I read here I shuffle for the questioner but at home when I do readings I allow the questioner to shuffle the cards. I always clean the cards after someone else has handled them.
All the cards are laid faced down. The first card is placed down in the middle
CARD 1 Present Influences
this shows the questioner world and what is happening to them at this time. The next card is placed on top of the first card
CARD 2 Immediate Obstacles
this is what blocks the questioner this is immediate and happening to them now. The next card is placed above the first 2
CARD 3 Past Events
This card shows what has happened to the questioner in their past. The next card is placed at the left hand side of the first 2 cards.
CARD 4 Future Influences
This is what is coming up for the questioner in the future. The next 4 cards are placed upwards along side of the other cards.
CARD 5 Specific Goal
this card tells of the questioners hopes and dreams and what they want out of life. the next card is place at the right hand side of the first 2 cards.
CARD 6 Past Foundations
This tells of things that have happened to the questioner in the past that are having an effect on the questioner at this present time. The next card is placed below the first 2 cards.
CARD 7 The Questioner
This showed the questioner and tells you a little about them.
CARD 8 Environmental Factors
This shows the effect that the questioner and people around them are having on there life.
CARD 9 Inner Emotions
What is going on inside for the questioner and things they do not always share with others.
CARD 10 Final Result
This is the outcome of the cards and should tell you ultimately the answer in which the questioner has asked.
We spoke of other things and questions were asked but I will be happy to repeat any knowledge that I have passed on in circle chat. The next tarot lesson I will be talking about the meanings of the cards.
